The Internet has become an extremely popular place to post your resume online. It's quick, easy and often free. However, not all resume distribution services are equal. Just throwing your resume online or in a distribution database isn't all it's cracked up to be. You need to be careful here.
Secondly, as the resume poster, you also have search through thousands of employer job postings to find the type of job you're looking for, using keywords. The perfect job for you may be in that database, but if you don't know the keyword to bring it up, you miss out.
Using a resume distribution service that emails your resume to employers and recruiters may be the answer.
Instead of posting your resume online to dozens of resume databases that need to be searched, you may be better off paying for a service that blasts your resume to specific employers.
